Allunharie Car Crash leaves 1 dead, 3 seriously injured

A serious accident that occurred Tuesday at Allunharri Village in the Upper River Region (URR) has claimed the life of one Abdoulie Jallow, a Guinean national, and left three people in critical condition.

Confirming the incident to the Daily Observer, Ousman Jatta, Police Commissioner of URR, said the accident involved a car with registration number BJL 3247. He further explained that the accident happened at around 3:00 am when the said vehicle was coming from the Kombos, heading to Guinea Conakry. 

According to him, the said Abdoulie Jallow died on the spot, while three other passengers were seriously injured and referred to the Bansang Hospital for medical checkup. The Police Commissioner said that the driver is suspected to have been over speeding, resulting in his losing control of the vehicle, which eventually plunged into a canal.
